Open lectures in Singapore by Dr. László Vasa

Dr. László Vasa, chief advisor and senior researcher of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade delivered open seminars about the presence and activity of China in the CEE region at the high ranked foreign policy think tanks of Singapore in the first week of October.

Dr. László Vasa, chief advisor and senior researcher of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade delivered open seminars about the presence and activity of China in the CEE region and the related attitudes at the invitation of the partner institutes, high ranked foreign policy think tanks with regional impact in Singapore.

At the Yusof Ishak Institute of South-East Asian Studies (ISEAS) of the National University of Singapore, one of best universities of the world, a public seminar titled „China’s engagement in Central and Eastern Europe: a view from Hungary” was organized, moderated by Dr. Cassey Lee, senior researcher and program directors of ISEAS. In the other most prestigious think tank of Singapore, the Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of the Nanyang Technological University (11th best in the world on the QS World University Ranking list) a public lecture and discussion was held with the title „Chinese Interests in Central and Eastern Europe: What does the BRI Portend?”, moderated by prof. Li Mingjiang. Both events were visited by a high number of members of diplomatic corps and experts on China and Europe from Singapore.
