Panel Discussion
Competitiveness in Contemporary Economies
As part of the competitiveness series, this time we are addressing the question of what competitiveness means and how it is ensured in the modern economy. What is the role of banks, what are the relations between corporations and the state, what is the role of energy stability, to what extent digitalization and the big tech industry, including AI, contribute to economic development and competitiveness, etc., are just some of the questions that we will discuss with outstanding guests. Finally, the question remains how to preserve economic performance and competitiveness in times of new wars and a new surge in energy prices.
Dr. Radovan Jelasity, from Erstе Bank, President of the Hungarian Banking Association, and former Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, as well as Professor Richard Werner of Corvinus University and Italian economist and Machiavelli Center associate Alberto Maria Radici participate in the conversation with dr Peter Goreczky.
