Emir Suljagić, Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre visited HIIA

On 9 May 2023, the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) had the pleasure to host Emir Suljagić, the Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre (Bosnia and Herzegovina) for a closed discussion.

During the discussion moderated by Anna Orosz, HIIA Research Fellow, the Director – who is also the author of several academic publications on genocide – introduced the operation and activities of the Centre, and outlined the social, domestic political as well as the international implications of the genocide denial in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
