In the first week of June 2024, Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) hosted a delegation of civil servants from Kosovo and Montenegro as part of the Civil Servants Mobility Program (CSMP), funded by the International Visegrad Fund.
The week-long study visit focused on Hungary’s experience in implementing EU sectoral reforms, with a special emphasis on environmental protection, climate change, and green energy. Participants engaged in discussions with key institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Energy, and leading energy and environmental organizations.
The program concluded with valuable insights into green and nuclear energy, as well as a glimpse into Hungarian culture and cuisine. HIIA’s Western Balkans Center extends its best wishes to the participants and appreciation to the International Visegrad Fund for its support.
