Zsolt has more than 20 years of international experience. With a US Congress scholarship he studied International Relations at Georgetown University (GU) in Washington, D.C. Later, he returned to GU and studied National Security. Before joining HIIA’s research team, Zsolt worked as a risk-management consultant at a British firm operating in global hot-spots. Previously he ran the Hungarian Trade House in Mexico. Earlier, for more than three years, as General Director, Zsolt oversaw a US private security company operating in Mexico with nearly 3000 employees.
He also held positions in an American telecommunications company as Sr. Security Manager for Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela, in an US-owned bank as VP in the security and investigations department, in a multinational consulting firm’s Financial Advisory Services as Manager and for six years in a leading risk management company as Senior Consultant. He prepared local and regional geopolitical studies for several corporations and media outlets. Zsolt was a lecturer at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) where he taught European Diplomatic History and Modern European History.
