The Western Balkans Center pursues the mission of spreading the Hungarian viewpoint in regional affairs, with an emphasis on European expansion, energy, security and migration. The WBC will continue HIIA’s flagship Budapest Balkans Forum and road shows, drawing on Hungary’s long experience with related issues—including the regional consequences of the war, bilateral relations and the prospects of EU enlargement.
