The Visegrad Cooperation could also be a good example for the Western Balkan countries when it comes to the cooperation of think tanks and NGOs, said Márton Schőberl, director of the IFAT in Tirana. At the Tirana Connectivity Forum, held for the eighth time in the Albanian capital, experts from the region met and exchanged views on infrastructure, the situation of NGOs and the EU accession process in the region.

The IFAT field team, director Márton Schőberl and Ferenc Németh, research fellow and coordinator of the Western Balkans research programme, also conducted a number of bilateral discussions with our partner organisations, partly with a view to next year’s Budapest Balkans Forum.
