For four years, US-Hungary relations underwent a serious deterioration. Yet, in the span of just a few months, significant improvements have taken place. Join us to hear about it directly from those who were present behind the scenes: Robert Palladino, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States; Levente Magyar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Gladden Pappin, President of the HIIA.

They will provide exclusive insights into the renewed diplomatic engagement, the outcomes of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s recent White House visit, and the role Hungary will play in shaping transatlantic relations.

Following the panel, a reception will be held in honor of Robert Palladino as he bids farewell and concludes his service in Hungary.
