Péter András Bárány is an expert in international relations and a researcher at the Institute’s Secure Neighbourhood Research Group. His work focuses on EU foreign policy, the geopolitics of energy policy transition, and issues related to artificial intelligence and data-driven governance. He is a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Public Administration at the National University of Public Service; his research examines the impact of data-driven decision-making on EU decarbonization. He gained professional experience at the European Parliament in Brussels and worked as a business development consultant in the private sector.
