The High-level Symposium of Think Tanks of China-CEEC, a joint academic platform of Central and Eastern European countries and China, was held for the eighth time on November 16, 2022.

Márton Schőberl, Director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT), and Viktor Eszterhai, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute, participated in the event. In his presentation, Márton Schőberl outlined the challenges that have changed Hungary’s geopolitical environment in recent years and examined how this affects Hungary’s strategy of opening up to the East. In his presentation, Viktor Eszterhai pointed out the risks associated with the regionalization of globalization and suggested measures that Central and Eastern European countries should take to mitigate these risks.
