On 23 June 2023, the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs hosted a high-level delegation from Georgia. During the closed discussion, the Georgian interagency working group presented their progress on their 12-point priority list leading to European Union candidate status formulated by the EU Commission. By providing an excellent opportunity to get a glimpse of the ongoing negotiations between the EU and potential candidate Georgia, the occasion helped our researchers to deepen their theoretical knowledge about the EU integration with practical considerations.
