Gergely Fejérdy graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at PPKE with a degree in French history. He pursued university studies in Switzerland, Belgium, and France, and in 2009 he obtained a PhD degree in the history of international relations from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Since 2010, he has been a full-time university lecturer at the PPKE Institute of History and the Department of International Relations. In 2011, he began working at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs. From 2015 to 2019, he served as a diplomat in Paris (as a counselor). Since 2020, he has been the deputy scientific director of the Habsburg Ottó Foundation. He is a member of the editorial board of several research groups and professional journals, a speaker at numerous scientific conferences, and the author of several publications.
