Egypt and Hungary in the Changing World Order: Discussion with H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Hungarian Institute of International Affairs’ high-level discussion offers a strategic, forward-looking dialogue between Egypt and Hungary on regional and global issues of shared importance.

The conversation will focus on key dimensions such as the evolution of the Egyptian–Hungarian strategic partnership, Egypt’s stabilizing influence in the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean and its implications for regional security, as well as perspectives from Egypt and the broader Global South on the shifting dynamics of the international order and global governance.

By moving from bilateral relations to regional dynamics and global challenges, the panel aims to highlight how Egypt and Hungary can jointly contribute to building a more secure, balanced, and resilient international environment.
