Since the concept of connectivity has different meanings in international politics and academic discourse, the researchers of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs will explore the conceptual framework and possible definitions of connectivity in this analysis, and will compare how the key actors in world politics and the global economy – the European Union, the United States and China – interpret connectivity, and what conclusions can be drawn from this for domestic decision-makers. The analysis is also intended to serve as a starting point for future research by the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs focusing on connectivity.
