As an undergraduate, he studied International Relations at the Corvinus University of Budapest. In 2015, he obtained a joint Master of Arts degree in European Studies and International Relations from the Lille Institute of Political Studies (SciencesPo) and the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged. In 2016, he graduated from the Nationalism Studies MA program of the Central European University, Budapest. In his Master’s thesis, he made a comparative analysis of the independence question in Scotland and Catalonia through the prism of Constitutional Law. Since 2017, he has been enrolled in the Comparative History PhD program at the Central European University; in his doctoral research, he intends to complement his expertise by looking at the historical dimensions of Scotland’s and Catalonia’s incorporation into the British and Spanish monarchies.
